About

A woman with short blonde hair, glasses, and a gray sweater standing against a plain gray wall, smiling with her arms crossed.

Dr. Leanne Dzubinski is an expert on naming and eliminating gender bias in organizations. A sought-after speaker, consultant, and expert witness, she challenges narratives that frame women as the problem rather than the systems in which they work. As she told CBS News, “There is always an excuse masquerading as a reason given for a woman about why she is not quite right for any role.”

Leanne helps women understand that bias is not personal and helps organizational leaders see how removing bias allows everyone to flourish. Outreach Magazine notes that her work “brings life to the unknown,” and through that work, she has developed tools and strategies that enable women to thrive and organizations to improve their practices.

She is the author of four books, including Glass Walls and Confronting Sacred Inequalities. Her work has appeared in Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, and numerous scholarly journals. She is the recipient of various awards such as the ASM Book Award and the International Leadership Association Emerging Scholar Award.

Leanne serves as Dean of Faculty Development and Global Education at Westmont College and has held teaching and senior academic leadership roles at Asbury Seminary and Biola University. She has lived and worked internationally, and is multi-lingual, speaking both Spanish and German.
